Wellsford
Wellsford township is situated on the northern convergence of State Highway 1 & State Highway 16, and is ideally placed to continue its recent development towards becoming an active rural business/shopping centre serving the mainly rural lifestyle communities that live nearby. Some of the most attractive farms in Lower Northland are located in this district. Many of the larger farms have over the past few years been subdivided into attractive lifestyle blocks.
Wellsford township is handy to both Mangawhai Heads & Pakiri beaches on the east coast, as well as numerous beaches and fishing grounds, Port Albert & Tapora, to the west on the Kaipara Harbour .

The Wellsford Branch Office opened in 1994 on the left hand side of the main street south end travelling north. A recent office extension to incorporate adjoining premises & refurbishment has provided the office with much needed additional client service areas including two interview rooms, an auction room and a specific Property Management (rental) department managed by an experienced and extremely hard working Manager.
